  • The recommended length for each performance is 20 - 60 minutes. However it can not exceed 90 minutes long.

  • Eagle Theatre’s Fringe Committee is selecting a diverse presentation of works that are innovative and bring authentic stories to our audience in intimate settings. Examples of work that is most likely to be selected may include: Work that can be adapted in unique spaces, original work, work with a unique point of view or perspective, work that takes risks and pushes boundaries.

  • Each producing organization must pay $15 for the registration fee. If your piece is chosen you will be asked to pay the administration fee of your specific space. No matter the venue you choose, the Jersey Fringe Festival is providing each producer with :

    • A venue

    • Chairs

    • A venue assistant to help with your box office needs

    • Assistance on marketing (Eagle Theatre social media, mailing, print, and more!)

For more information about each venue please click here

  • All venues are in walking distance (less than 5 minutes) from The Eagle Theatre - where “The Hub” is also located.

  • Every production is different! Aside from the fixed costs associated with administrative fees from our end, artists whose work is selected are entirely responsible for managing their own finances and budgets. Past artists have held fundraisers to support their production expenses. Artists will receive cuts of the profit from box office and ticket sales, but these are not always significant. All artists are welcome to collect donations at their performances, if they wish.

  • Each venue will have basic electric to operate minimal technical needs. Producing organizations that do not have performances at the Eagle Theatre are responsible for their own tech (lights, sound, operators)

  • Since most of the venues are spaces used by business owners, we can not guarantee that all venues will be open to rehearse prior to the performance dates (August 19th and 20th) However, all venues will be open Friday, August 18th for performers to come and set up and tech their pieces. Artists will be responsible for rehearsing and preparing for their shows without guarantee of a rehearsal space.

  • A minimum of 2 performances a day.

  • The deadline to submit your registration form is June 11th, 2023 11:59 EST.

If you are selected to perform at the NJ Fringe Festival, you will be notified by email on June 18th.
